We have all been in the situation where we get something on our painted doors, walls, cabinets, and even floors. With this guide it will give you some options on different products and mixtures you can use to remove stains from painted items.
One thing to keep in mind is that some of these methods if used incorrectly or to harshly could result in removal of the paint. So use this guide with caution as we are not responsible for mishaps. This is only a guide of known products to try.
Rubbing Alcohol
Add some rubbing alcohol to a wash rag and rub in a circular motion until the stain is removed. This may take several minutes. We recommend Swan Brand Rubbing Alcohol.
Vinegar And Water
Mix the two into a spray bottle with a 80/20 mixture. Shake the bottle well before spraying onto the stain, then rub with a dry wash rag to remove the stain. We recommend Panty Mate Vinegar.

WD40
Wd40 has multiple uses and this is one of them. it has been know to remove crayon, glue, and other substances from painted items without hurting the paint. It also is great for vehicles. We recommend WD40 original.
Peroxide and Baking Soda
In a bowl mix peroxide and baking soda together. Stir well and dip wash rag into solution, rub on stain until it is gone. Warning: Baking soda can remain gritty and could scratch if rubbed to hard. DO NOT use on vehicle paint. We recommend Swan brand peroxide and Arm & Hammer Baking Soda.
Out White Brite
Mix Out in a spray bottle with water, shake well and spray on stain. Then take a dry cloth and rub stain to remove. We recommend Out White Brite Original.
Magic Eraser
To use the magic eraser, just wet it and rub on the stain lightly, I will say that again, lightly. This product will remove the paint and maybe even more if pressed to hard. DO NOT use on vehicles paint or items with metal behind the paint. We recommend Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
Bleach
Mix 30/60 with water in a spray bottle. Shake well and spray solution onto surface. Make sure you are not spraying near carpeting or clothing as the bleach will discolor these items. Rub off stain with a dry wash rag. DO NOT use on vehicles. We recommend Clorox Brand Bleach
Natures Miracle
Add product to a dry wash rag and scrub on stain. We recommend the original Natures Miracle No Scent.
Lestoil
Add to a dry wash rag and scrub product on, it can be diluted in water and added to a spray bottle as well. We recommend Lestoil No Scent.
